Raja Perry has been involved in Eastern philosophy, mysticism, yoga and meditation since 1972 when he first came in contact with his initiating guru, Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.

Since then, he has studied a variety of eastern texts and in 1984 decided to specialise in jyotish, or Vedic astrology. Raja has studied with veteran astrologers like Sri Ranganath Desika of Bangalore, Sri V. Krishnaswamy of Madras, and most notably with Dr.David Frawley (Sri Vamadev Shastri) of the American Institute Of Vedic Studies.

Raja began professional consultation in 1990, after completing his studies with Dr. Frawley. He has been able to introduce many spiritually-minded individuals to the means for transcending their karmic destiny as indicated in their birth charts.
